Mulch blowing uses a hose to pneumatically apply mulch directly into beds. It is faster and more even than hand-spreading and reaches slopes, backyards and tight spaces a wheelbarrow can’t.

A two to three inch layer is ideal — enough to retain moisture and suppress weeds without smothering plant roots. We calculate the right amount for each bed.
